“Modern hotel, great location”
This hotel meets your every expectation from a modern city hotel (including lack of character!). But the best thing is its location. Most first-timers in Istanbul head to the over-touristed old city to stay. Titanic Port is a short-ish taxi ride from the main airport, but it's not an out-of-town, out-of-way airport hotel. It's located in a wonderful, buzzing, middle-class Turkish neighborhood. Nearby there are some old Ottoman mansions, Armenian churches, shopping streets, cafes, seafood restaurants, malls, and a marina. All of this within walking distance. If the weather is good, the streets will be buzzing with young people. Great way to explore Turkish way of life. And the obvious old city sights are still a taxi ride away. If you prefer to be among Istanbulites instead, take a taxi to the nearby Yesilyurt and have a great day on the promenade or the beach.
Room Tip: If you're willing to cough up a few extra bucks, get a room overlooking the sea.

"...has everything you need for such a short period"
I was staying in the Hotel for one night only on my way to South Africa and I must say this hotel has everything you need for such a short period. It is close to the airport (15 min by taxi), helpful staff, very nice view over the Marmara see and good kitchen. For those that wants to do some shopping, Shopping Center is just next to the hotel, so you don't need to travel far. Also metro station is in the walking distance from the hotel, so if you have more time, you can get to the Old Town fast an easy.

“Amazing hotel”
A 5 star hotel near Ataturk Airport in Istanbul. From beginning to end : PERFECT. Staff are amazingly helpful, polite and supportive. Rooms are spacious, modern with very comfortable beds and pillows. Meals were tasty, enjoyable whether buffet or off regular menu. This hotel was well organized, even though only open 1 month. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools with full spa. Sipped tea after our indoor swim. Only at hotel 1 night on way out of Istanbul. What an amazing surprise. Would love to go back in a heartbeat. Not a single complaint. Best to book on line to keep costs down. The Titanic hotel was unforgettably great.

“Ticks every box!”
As a former hotel manager and now regular business traveller I'd highly recommend this hotel. I arrived after midnight last night and only staying for 1 night but the service has been fantastic and I will return next time I'm in Istanbul.
All I'm really looking for is a simple, clean room, loads of hot water, a comfy bed and pillows, quiet air conditioning, a window which opens and polite helpful staff - the Titanic Port hotel has excelled in providing all of these. The staff are great, arranging a late check out and sorting out my business requirements with grace and efficiency - if you need anything just ask for Aylin Kutay - there's nothing that woman can't do!
Breakfast was very tasty with a wide range to suit all diets.

“Great way to visit Istanbul for first time”
This is a really brilliant hotel and outstanding value. It was recommended by a friend and I am really glad to have found it. It is one of the few hotels to offer a free return shuttle service from the airport, which worked seamlessly. Although it is quite far out of the centre of Istanbul, it is only a taxi ride or a couple of metro rides away. Taxi will cost about TRY 25 each way while the metro only costs TRY 4 each way (Ok, it does involve a bit of a schlep to walk to the Metro station but this is no biggie). The hotel is extremely quiet as it is located in a residential area. Staff are very pleasant and efficient and standards generally are exceptionally high. The breakfast is incredible; a huge variety of freshly-prepared hot and cold foods makes this a real highlight of one's stay here. The views from the bar on the top floor, especially at night, are lovely. Lots of upmarket shopping a few metres away at the Carousel and Capa City shopping centres.

“The Titanic Port Hotel: Amazing Istanbul Hotel!”
I can't recommend this hotel enough! I was leaving Iraq and going home to the USA and had to spend the night in Istanbul. I was looking for a nice hotel with a world class spa. After reading several reviews I took a chance and picked the Titanic Port Hotel.
What an awesome experience I had! The staff is outstanding! And I can't say enough about the Guest Relations Rep, Aylin Kutay. She went out of here way to make me feel welcome and ensured all my needs were met.
The room was a pleasant surprise. Clean, spacious, well stocked and extremely comfortable. I went down stairs to their gym and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and modern the equipment was. After the gym I treated myself to a visit to the hotels spa and LOVED it! Got an awesome massage, pedicure and a facial that was one of the best I had every had.
I can't say enough about this hotel. I highly recommend it and you will not be disappointed!
Room Tip: “Make your hotel reservations on their website and you get FREE transportation from the airport to the hotel and back. Maybe it was me, but I felt the local cab drivers were shady!”

“Perfect for what we wanted”
What a pleasant hotel stay! Everything about this place was wonderfully agreeable. The room was very nice, with a large, comfortable bed, a sofa, a large closet, and good lighting. The bathroom had a very large shower, which was particularly nice.
The ground floor has both a restaurant and a quick coffee shop, and we appreciated having both. I can't say enough about the staff -- extremely helpful, nice and friendly. The head of guest services went out of her way to greet and welcome us personally.
Logistically, the property is immediately adjacent to a big shopping mall and is just a few minutes walk to the train that goes to the Topkapi Palace / Grand Bazaar / Spice Market areas. Lots of food choices in walking distance. Metered, licensed taxis are queued at the hotel entrance 24/7 -- yes, even at 03.30. The ride to Ataturk airport was no more than 12-15 minutes.
Overall, one just has to wonder why other hotels can't get these things right. The Titanic Port is nothing fancy. It's nothing glamorous. It just gets everything right and creates a very pleasant environment for its guests. They just take care to make guests happy & comfortable. Kudos to management & staff!

“One of my very best hotel experiences”
This hotel is located closer to the airport than the center of Istanbul--but don't count it out if you are a tourist. It is only a 10 minute walk from there to the Sea Bus that will get you to Kabatas--and from there the tram takes you to the old city or the funicular goes to Taksim. Another ferry travels between Bakirkoy and points on the Asian side. Everything about this place is terrific--starting with the wonderful staff who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. On my last day there, the manager of the hotel went around to every breakfast table to solicit opinions of her hotel and ask if there was anything else that was possible to make the stay better. I found a lovely fruit plate in my room upon arrival--so these pleasant experiences bookended my stay. I have to second the comments about the fitness center--incredibly well equipped. I recommend the breakfast. A great introduction to a wide variety of Turkish breakfast treats--including the traditional soup. You will love it here--despite the hotel's unfortunate name. Price is reasonable for what I would call a 5-star hotel. And you will also enjoy the shopping center next door.
